Zach values creating long term relationships that go beyond the traditional confines of the workplace. It is Zach’s belief that a broker’s worth in this industry comes in his ability to create value, which he feels requires a strong relationship based on trust and respect, forged best over a happy hour, a round of golf, or a day on the lake.
CAREER
Zach’s first taste of real estate dates back to 2010. As a sophomore attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Zach spent his Thanksgiving with the family of his mentor-to-be and now business partner, Dave Hazenfield. It was there where he was recruited to accept a summer internship, working alongside Dave at a small, boutique industrial real estate firm in Milwaukee, WI. Upon graduating in 2012, Zach accepted a full-time brokerage position, where he would spend the next ten years of his career, eventually earning the role of Partner & Shareholder.
In February 2022, Zach teamed up with close friends and industry colleagues to launch Twelve2 Commercial Group. Zach and the Twelve2 team understand the importance of listening to their clients, paying close attention to the details, and always responding in a timely fashion. Zach specializes in sales, leasing, and development of industrial, commercial, and self-storage properties. Combining his work ethic with a passion for real estate, Zach serves as an effective advocate for his clients.
OUTSIDE OF WORK
Zach and his wife realized a lifelong dream when in the summer of 2020, they purchased a home on Okauchee Lake in Oconomowoc, WI. It is their where you’ll find them enjoying endless summer (or winter) days on the boat (or ice) hosting friends, family, and clients.
If he isn’t at home, you can typically find Zach meeting new people at the golf course, tennis club, or to his wife’s dismay, the local watering hole.
